The Hotel Hermitage
was built in the early 1950s, on the site of a small fishing village,
by the Genoese aristocrat Paolo De Ferrari,
after be fell in love at a first sight with Biodola's crystal-clear sea, the heart-wrenching beauty of the bay
and its uncontaminated natural setting.
Today the Hotel stands deep in extensive, wonderfully lush private grounds,
blending in perfectly with the Mediterranean maquis.
Like a wide terrace overlooking the bay, the Hotel is set directly on the beach, surrounded by the warm sapphire sea
and fine golden sand.
